The Chocolate Company Lofts in Queen West, Toronto
What is today known as the Chocolate Company Lofts was once the The Patterson Candy Company from 1912 until the 1950s. Spanning block between Massey and Crawford on Queen Street West, this old factory is now home to 144 hard and soft lofts. You can expect authentic factory features such as exposed brick, wooden posts, steel beams, polished concrete or hardwood floors, and wood or even corrugated metal ceilings.
Most of the hard lofts have 12 foot ceilings where the soft lofts are just over ten feet. There is also an abundance of natural light that comes in to the Chocolate Company Lofts as there are no tall condo towers around. Its neighbour, the Candy Factory Lofts, are to the west making for a sweet street here on Queen.
Located in the heart of Queen West, residents here have the 24 hour Queen streetcar outside their door, while also within walking distance to all that Queen West has to offer. From numerous popular clothing retailers, to many delicious restaurants, and a short walk to the coveted Trinity Bellwoods Park.
