The Ninety Lofts in Leslieville, Toronto
Once an active Coca-Cola bottling plant, The Ninety now serves as home to many with 222 suites across eight storeys. This 1933 factory was approached by many developers with intentions of tearing it down. Thankfully, the architects and developers here decided to add additional floors after discovering the original columns were strong enough to hold them. They did this all while the former four storey plant was being occupied as office space.
Inside the Ninety Lofts you’ll see the large columns, big warehouse windows, hardwood floors and concrete walls. Suites here range from one to two bedroom and have sleek modern kitchens and nine to ten foot ceilings. Large terraces as well as six foot deep balconies accompany the suites in the added floors. At the centre of the U-shaped residence is a wonderfully landscaped interior courtyard.
