57 Brock is a condo and townhome development coming to Queen West and it’s absolutely one of my favourite Toronto pre-construction condos for sale. Just north of Queen on Brock Ave, this 6-storey boutique building with 97 units and will be ideally situated off the vibrant strip of Queen West with iconic bars like The Cadillac Lounge, The Drake Hotel, or get your vegan “Big Mac” at Doomie’s. In fact, this area has been named Toronto’s very own Vegandale neighbourhood. The neighbourhood also has a strong art scene and a great spot to get your hands on great vintage clothing and home furnishings alike.

When you couple this up and coming neighbourhood, Parkdale, with a lack of available inventory and an unbeatable price you’ve got yourself a great pre-construction condo investment in Toronto.

Comparable and competing buildings in the neighbourhood are selling their live inventory between $1100 and $1300 per square foot with inferior, pre-existing re-sale buildings in the area selling for over $1000 a foot.

The Poet Condominiums in Toronto’s coveted Leslieville is a charming boutique building as charming as the neighbourhood it calls home. With only 69 suites, this boutique condo development in Leslieville will feature designer suites with wide plank laminate flooring, quartz countertops, soft close interior finish kitchen cabinetry with integrated appliances and all the nuances you want in a home.

The Poet Condos Suite InteriorLocation really is everything when it comes to this Leslieville pre-construction condo investment. I like this pre-construction condo in Toronto because it’s a small boutique building right on Queen Street East. It’s just steps to transit with all the retail you’d want just beyond your door and you still get that great Leslieville neighbourhood vibe. More than anything though, the infrastructure in this neighbourhood is changing. With the anticipated East Harbour and new east-end transit Leslieville and the east side are set to transform over the coming years.

This project is priced at market value but it is still a great investment. With very little inventory available in this neighbourhood, whatever building launches next will undoubtedly launch at a higher price point.

The River and Fifth Condo amenities will span 25,000 square feet and appeal to young professionals and families alike. From an expansive fitness centre to a rooftop beach style baja pool with breathtaking skyline views and kid-friendly amenities too. The finishes throughout River & Fifth Condos are modern, warm and sophisticated and are aimed to fulfill the needs of its residents.

The Lower East Side of Toronto, where River & Fifth Condos will call home, has seen some incredible development in recent years and has far more in the works including Canada’s biggest commercial development, East Harbour, which will be part of Toronto’s growing tech-industry. Riverside Square Condos has been immensely popular and is backed by reputable developer, Streetcar Developments.

Similar to The Poet Condominiums above, Riverside Square is located in the heart of Leslieville and will benefit from all of the new infrastructure coming to the neighbourhood like East Harbour and the new east-end transit plan.

Mirvish+Gehry Toronto is still in the very early phases so details about this pre-construction condo launch haven’t been released yet. However, renderings or rather conceptual designs for this two tower supertall skycraper pre-construction condo along King West have us excited for Frank Gehry’s fresh perspective.

The master plan for Mirvish+Gehry Toronto will have 209 hotel units, a new art gallery, and includes over 85,000 sqft of multi-level retail opportunities in the heart of Toronto’s Arts and Entertainment District. These spaces offer unlimited potential for all kinds of businesses, from national retailers to international brands, specialty restaurants, fashion boutiques and furniture shops. Mirvish Gehry Toronto condos is set to house 1716 suites across two towers in this prime King West location.

Although the entire building isn’t launching this year, Galleria Block 5 is set to launch in Spring/Summer of this year and we’ll have Platinum Access. Reimagine Galleria Condos is an eight building masterplan project set to transform the approximately 19 acre site at the corner of Dufferin and Dupont Street. The Galleria Mall redevelopment plan includes 2,846 condo units across eight residential towers all of which will be released in pre-construction launch phases.

An ode to the history of the Galleria Mall Toronto knows and loves, there will be a redesigned retail experience at grade level along new pedestrian focused streetscapes. The master plan is designed with a pedestrian-first approach by adding more community gathering spaces and laneways. The cycling community hasn’t been forgotten. There will be designated bike lanes and bike infrastructure throughout the development.

Set to be ready by 2023, this area at Front and Spadina will be home to a number of new developments including a European style market, office towers, restaurants, shopping and just under 1,600 residential suites. With an anticipated 1.43 million square feet of residential space, there’s a little something for everyone. The intention of the designers and developers is to provide a place where you can live, work, and play…well.

The Well Condos is set to launch sometime in 2019 with the exact date yet to be announced.
