The Creed Building Lofts in the Annex, Toronto

The Creed Building, or Creed Lofts, are located on the cusp of Toronto’s Annex and Yorkville neighbourhoods. The Creed Building gets its name from the former Creed Fur storage company that occupied the building as early as the 1930’s. It has a heritage designation and according to the plaque its horizontal layout and curved facade are characteristic of the Streamlined Moderne style, more often referred to as Art Deco.

This two-storey residence has only 19 suites, most of which are two-storey layouts. One bedroom, one bedroom plus dens and two bedrooms are available and range from 1006 to 2320 square feet. The suites are reminiscent of a home, with the two storey layouts, hardwood floors, skylights, terraces and fireplaces.

For such a small boutique residence, you still have access to amenities including a gym, pool and sauna. However, with such large suites and fewer than 20 total maintenance fees here are on the high side.

The Creed Building Location

Nestled between Yorkville and the Annex and just south of Rosedale, you’re close to so much. You are a short walk to five different subway stations and can jump on the Bay bus just outside your door though, with a walk score of 96, you can really walk anywhere.

Stroll down Avenue Road to Whole Foods and the high-end retailers of Yorkville or treat yourself to some much needed TLC at the Park Hyatt Spa. Looking for good eats? Hit up the great selection of pubs and restaurants along Dupont Street or for a more refined experience make a reservation in Yorkville.
